Services Policy: Security statement

Omnistream services utilizes industry standards for Internet security available today. When you access our live services using industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, your information is protected using both server authentication and data encryption, ensuring that your data is safe, secure, and available only to registered Users in your organization. Your data will be completely inaccessible to your competitors.


Omnistream Co provides each User in your organization with a unique user name and password that must be entered each time a User logs on. Omnistream issues a session “cookie” only to record encrypted authentication information for the duration of a specific session. The session “cookie” does not include either the username or password of the user. Omnistream does not use “cookies” to store other confidential user and session information, but instead implements more advanced security methods based on dynamic data and encoded session IDs.


In addition, Live Omnistream Services are hosted in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders.


Customers should note that no security is 100% safe. Customers should ensure protection of their passwords, and limit access to their work devices. While Omnistream does not enforce password change policies, users should take it upon themselves to change their passwords on a regular basis.

All customer data transmitted to us from customer sites should be guaranteed by the HTTPS protocol. Most integrations will be facilitated by Omnistream, or approved partner technicians. However, customers will occasionally handle their own integration procedures. Even in such cases, the customer should ensure that data connections are at least as secure as standard HTTPS protocols.
